KLE Society’s Institute of Dental Sciences Bangalore (KLESIDS) which is located in the city of Bangalore, Karnataka state came into existence in the year 1992. This institute is affiliated RHUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore) along with this it is recognized by Dental council of India (DCI). This college is operated by KLE Society which is one of recognized and well known education society in the state as well as in the nation.

KLE Society came in to existence in the year 1916, which has changed the course of history in southern India for providing education. The society is now running under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore. The college believes in educating students and training them to develop a good relationship with the patients, also along with this can also efficiently manage a dental office. Students are also trained to design a good treatment plan with good techniques. The College as well as the Hospital is situated on the Tumkur -Bangalore Highway.

As the college is only one among the two teaching hospitals within that 15 kms range in Bangalore city it has a good volume of patients to take care of. The main aim of the college is to provide existing pool of dental and medical knowledge with an intention to promote public health. Along with this we strive to educate dentists from a broader vision point who can play a leading role in oral health care.

Eligibility Criteria

BDS
The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group. The candidate must have passed in English as a compulsory subject. candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects

MDS
Candidate should have Graduation and a bachelors degree in Dental Science from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates
