About RV Institute of Legal Studies
R.V. Institute of Legal Studies located in Bangalore, the silicon city of India famous for a large number of Institutions. The college started its operations as a Private Institute offering professional courses in the field of law. The institute situated in the old-city of Bangalore Basavanagudi affiliates with the well-known Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies (BILS).
The increasing crime rates, matters of civil disputes and cybercrime rates indicates that there is a need for more specially trained, legal force to handle pending cases of courts. It was the driving force behind opening RV Institute of Legal Studies. The management of the Institute is working under Prof. Dr. Anjina Reddy KR, who is currently serving as the Director of the college.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to 5 Years B.A., LL.B and B.B.A., LL.B
An applicant who has successfully completed a regular Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School Course (’10 + 2’ Pattern) from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government in India, or any equivalent institution from a foreign university, may apply for the five-year degree course in law leading to the conferment of a degree in B.A, L.L.B/ B.B.A, L.L.B upon successful completion of the regular programme conducted under these regulations.
Percentage Required for Admission in R.V. Institute of Legal Studies
- Minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination (General Merit)
- Minimum of 42% marks in the qualifying examination (OBC Category)
- Minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination (SC, ST & Cat-I)
